Kicker, the Movie

I finally had some time to go through all the pictures and movies I made during the 14 weeks we were blessed with Kicker's presence. It condensed to 4:18 minutes. Even though this story has a happy ending, I am still going to miss that lil bugger :):

Kicker and Buttons

Kicker is 2 months old tomorrow on the 18th, and Buttons is approx. 6 weeks old. Both get along well, even though there is an obvious size difference, Kicker is the gentle brother :-).

Both got their first shots and were de-wormed, received heartworm and flea prevention medication. Both are weaned as well. All we need now is a good home for them!!!

We have a name and a breed for the Dumpster Puppy

Breed: Akita (maybe a mix, not sure yet)
Name: Kicker (in the hope he grows up to kick the butt of the one who threw him into the trash!)

He started to open his eyes today, so he is approx. 12 days old already. Which makes the situation so much worse in my mind, because it means that he had to have had an owner for almost 2 weeks who then decided to toss the baby into the trash.

I have been going through different possibilities in my mind as to what could have possibly happened that made the puppy end up in the dumpster, but nothing sounds good enough to excuse such affliction of suffering.
